I am new to forums, so please accept my apology if posts like this one are not allowed.

I want to buy a Juki 22000 mini to replace a dead, but beloved ancient Singer. The only  two shops in my state that sell Jukis are about 3 hours apart, and I was told they are not allowed to give out prices over the phone. I visited the shop closest to me, but the prices of the machines were not displayed. They quoted $1000 for a new machine plus a few lessons. I have never purchased a new machine, so I was not prepared for all the pricing secrecy Undecided

Ive  found a couple of 2200s for sale online, and those prices seem too high. Is this $1000 a reasonable price? Is there anyone else who has purchased a 2200 mini that would mind sharing the approximate cost? Many thanks!  Smiley
