What the heck do I even call these? Made by the Saturday Crafternoon group I host at our place, I love them no matter what their name. The felt balls are great for adding a drop or two of essential oil for a natural scent diffuser, great for car, by a desk or bed, etc.

We started out the day with a kid craft because why not? We've been holding this group for a few weeks now and so many of our children are keen to participate. We had at least 10 munchkins at the table cutting and gluing to create these sweet little Popsicle stick ornaments. Just look at the creativity! My goodness, what an amazing 2 hours we spent burning ourselves with hot glue getting these fun guys together. I had such a wonderful time, at least as much fun as the small people. Some of those giant googly eyes just CRACK ME UP Cheesy!

Then they went outside and us mamas made something a bit more advanced, not much though I gotta say. This is not complicated though the results can be as decorative and ornate as you like, just keep adding elements.

Here's mine:

The turquoise and mustard/gold theme here is really lovely.

Cheerful and bright, I adore how sweet and happy this one looks.

Another, more earthy version of turquoise and gold, just fantastic.

And wow, this one really got the idea of a variegated tassel assembly spot on. I am so keen to make more of these and add this many elements, or more! The chains and lace are just, ooh, I love it.

Thanks, it was lots of fun. One friend said every week so far has been her new favourite project. That was the best compliment Smiley.
Everybody is so agog at my supplies, I should show them the photos of your collection BeaG. They'd all want to come over for crafts with you too I'm sure!

These are beautiful! Maybe use them as purse tassles?

With a slight alteration in assembly they could easily be planner or purse tassels. Should I make up a quickie tutorial?

How fun! Both projects! I am definitely going to try my hand at the tassel decorations. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think a tutorial would be great. Those tassels are lovely.

What a great bunch of creative kiddos! That's a fun assortment of decorated Popsicle sticks.

YES, please!

So jealous of your crafty group. How do you come up with such great craft ideas week after week?

Ok, I'll work on a how-to. In the meantime, one friend really loved the idea of making purse tassels and came over today to make more.

Nice, right?

I am full of ideas for this! Like a lot of you, I have more patterns, supplies, and pins than one person could do in an entire lifetime. It's narrowing it down that's the hard part Cheesy.
