@LadybugsAndBumblebees gave me some cool Marvel fabric in the Christmas stocking swap. My BF wanted some sort of pouch to carry his dice and game markers in for his RPG nights. He wanted to be able to keep the dice and markers separate but only carry one bag.

I found this pattern. I thought it was a little pricy but I am not comfortable enough with my sewing skills to make up my own pattern.

First I practiced with some scrap fabric I had.
You basically make a small pouch and sew it into a larger pouch.

Then I made one with the Marvel fabric. I was so careful with cutting out the fabric and then I accidentally sewed it upside down!!!  Angry
He says he will use it anyway. And I might have enough fabric left to try again.

All in all it was an easy pattern to use and I like the pouch in a pouch idea.

That looks really cool!
Well done‼️

Not being assured enough yet in your own skills isn't something to be ashamed of. It's a sign that you know your current limitations. Plus, you got a cool pattern that you can use more. [adding a small tab, with d-ring, that's capable of having a little handle attached would be cool.]

Thanks for bumping this post. I have been holding off on crafting anything until I get the studio cleaned up but the itch to stitch is really getting to me. I can imagine how this pattern is drafted so I might just sew one this weekend to see if my idea will work out the way I envision. The toughest part will be deciding which fabrics to use, I have too many favourites to choose from!
