I had a blast carving this! My bf thinks the eyes are a bit demonic, but I like it. I just had to carve a praying mantis after I found my first one ever in our yard!



After some thought, I decided to carve on the back too, for two reasons. First, I hate wasting perfectly good pumpkin canvas. Secondly, I was worried that two little holes wouldn't be enough fresh air for the candle, since I only carved all the way through on the eyes. So, I added a bat silhouette! In the right light (which is really hard to capture) the glowy bat shows up on the wall. Cheesy
