I am adding some small decorations to one item for partner 1, and waiting for something to dry to partner 2 - though the thing I need to dry may take awhile - I put it on the bar by the wood stove, on a rack.  Hopefully the combination of airflow and dry heat speeds things along.

Finished one thing for partner 1, so excited about ideas for partner 2 but just haven't found the time to do more than a tiny little start

I am 90% done with my item for one partner and I have all my supplies gathered for my other partner's item. I plan on sequestering myself in my art space this week to get everything done,  Grin

Is everyone still ok for send-outs a week from today?

I feel like I lost some time and brain cells over the weekend (snow days with a small and very energetic child are not the cozy crafting time they are for adults, somehow...) but am down to one project unfinished and considering extras and what to write in my cards.

Could be a bit tight, but I should be able to do it. I have two days off in the space between now and send off deadline.

I found my extras for partner # 2 today, so I am good to go. I hope to send by the end of this week.

My most important Little Good Thing wrote in my cards, but it's actually a REALLY BIG good thing, so I will share here:

My dh works for the federal gov't. He is an essential employee. However, the area he works for is appropriated by different funds, so as of right now, he is still getting his paycheck during this shutdown.

And....a little good thing for today:
As soon as I arrived home from my errands today, one of my tires (that is only a few months old and was already patched a few weeks ago from a screw hole) went flat on me. Why is this a little good thing?  Because it waited to go flat until I was safely home and in my garage. And, while I always pick my son up from school, he is able to ride the bus home today. Dh came home early to get the tire and take it to get repaired/replaced.
