That's so cute! Cheesy
Reminds me of something I'd blocked from my memory...

When I was about seven or eight, I convinced my brother to play Hairdresser. I got the round hair brush (you know, the one you use for bangs) stuck hopelessly into the hair at the back right of my head. There was no way either of us was going to be able to get it out. I remember thinking, "Oh, great... Mum's going to be soooo mad..." so I got scissors. *winces*
Anyway, my poor mother nearly had an apoplectic fit. Tongue
Especially because my hair grows reeeeeeeeeeally slowly. I've only had about eight "real" haircuts in my life (and those were, at most, an inch taken off the ends). So it took about two years to recover from that. Embarrassed
That's my hair horror story.

That's cute!
Hahaha, I remember in second grade I had my hair cut to above my ears. Voluntarily, so that my mom couldnt' curl my hair, becuase I had a phobia of curling irons.
I looked like a boy. For two years. It was horrible!

I cut my hair once.
Twice actually.
The first time I cut a huge chunk of in the middle of my chest length hair. So I had it cut to my shoulders. I was then about seven.
The second time was quite recent. 2 weeks ago, actually.
I thought my bangs were uneven and wanted straight across bangs, so I cut them. Too short, and because it's curly and frizzy, it sticks up.

My sister did that once, right before her dance recital. And then she tried to tell us she hadn't done anything.

And then she blamed me because, "Erin cuts her own bangs."

That look on your son's face was on mine a few times as a wee one.  Safety scissors my hind end!  They cut hair really well when you're determined to not sleep at nap time because "you really need your hair cut" and can't wait TWO days to go see your Aunt who's a professional beautician to cut your hair. *sigh*
My little cousin (said Aunt's dd) lopped her hair off right before her birthday party Cheesy No saftey scissors here, she got the scissors we'd been cutting up donkey tails with.  Her hair was, oh, an inch or two all around, like an Amazonian jungle kid bowl cut Cheesy My Aunt was in tears, there was no way to fix it.
I'm still stupid...I tried to cut my own bangs last year (I had the Betty Page bangs and needed a trim)...and for some DUMB reason I cut all the way to my ears and SHORT cause I couldn't get them straight.  It was hats, bandanas and scarves for me.
