Made for Smmarrt in the mini prayer flag swap.
I love scrappy patchwork covered with simple stitches, these were really satisfying to make. Included are some beads, vintage buttons, ribbon, & lace from my stash.

We were each sent 2, one to keep & one to abandon. Which do you think she'll choose for what?

I love the bottom one with the circles. I couldn't abandon that one. It would have to live with me.  Cheesy

I scrolled up and down, up and down, up and down and still couldn't choose one to abandon.

I feel the same. The first is all bright rainbow sunshine with orange ribbon & triade of buttons but the second has the circular stitching & that rich piece of machine embroidered purple corduroy.

I gotta say, I am loving sifting through the scrap stash for this sort of thing. I find some really groovy tidbits that would otherwise be garbage, you know?

It's inspiring gorgeous projects like these and your journals that are why I have so many tiny bits stored in bins even though I am very unlikely to make these kinds of projects! Soooooo wonderful and yet so not my general jam.  Undecided

Here's an idea - I'll make another one in your style to abandon and keep both of yours!  Wink Wink Wink

They are gorgeous in real life - thank you, thank you, thank you.

Do it! I don't know how I'm going to give my mom the lovely giraffe flags you made for her then tell her she has to give one away. She is likely to think I'm completely crazy, haha.
