I have lots of different sorts of elastic beading cord but none of it seems very strong. I'm making bracelets with semi-precious beads that we plan to wear every day and I really want them to hold up. I bought one last year that is on a cord that isn't clear, it looks like it's comprised of many thin strands of stringy stretchy thread all bundled together. It's stayed strong for nearly the entire year of constant wear but I haven't found that type in any shops or online.

I would so appreciate a recommendation. Thank you for any info you have Smiley.

Wish I could be of help, but I loathe working with any sort of stretchy cord.  All my beaded bracelets are strung on beading wire with crimp beads.  If I come across anything, I'll let you know!

Hmmm, I just looked at Fire Mountain Gems website, which I use a lot.  Maybe something like this: https://www.firemountaingems.com/search/?keywords=powercord

Thanks Jennie Smiley. I'm watching some videos on recommendations today hoping to find a really reliable cord. I just don't want a clasp with these, they are like a mala bracelet. I may order a couple different types of cord and see which seems the strongest. Guess there is really only one way to know for sure. Yikes!
