nearly every little 8 year old girl wants to be a unicorn, right? So I knit my daughter a unicorn outfit.

I used the Velvet Acorn pattern Unice Unicron hood for the hood, and just kind of winged it for the tail.  It's a base of the white yarn, knit into a tail stub with a belt.  I secured it with safety pins.

As it goes in our town, there is very little time for picture taking, so I could only grab these pics while she was out and about with her friends and I met up with her by happenstance.

Also, a bonus pic - all the costumes we made this year (since I can only enter 1, and I choose the unicorn, but I'm proud of the work we did and want to show it off! I'll make posts for the others in the proper section of the forum)

Super adorable and sure to get worn all winter too. I'd wear that to school, I would!

Great costume! The hooded scarf is beautiful - I'd bet it'll get lots of wear.
