Never having done paper crafts before I figured a pre-cut kit would be the route to go.  I found this one on clearance for $6 and ran for the hills!  It features 5 houses with carious punch out ghosts and zombies and bats and what not
I have realized that paper crafting, however, is not my forte as I am far too impatient to wait for glue to dry.  *sigh*
I do like the results, I hope I can store them proper to display next year as well
Here goes:

All lit up with electric votives from the Dollar Tree:

Funny story...I nearly burnt down my neighborhood one Halloween because I used regular votive candles in paper bags as my sidewalk luminaries, I didn't realize that I needed wax covered bags to keep them from igniting.  Having a row of 20+ bags burst into flames after a strong wind and stomping them all out was a lesson learned for me!  Thankfully my neighbor had his garden hose on the ready and saved me (and Mrs. O'Leary's cow) from inevitable peril.

WOW! That's a really fun and spooky little (not aflame) neighborhood!

I recently started getting more into paper crafting and found a glue called 3-in-1 by Beacon that dries really quickly and w/o rippling paper. JIC you decide to give it another go.  Wink

Good to know! On second thought, Dollar Tree glue may have been a bad choice

Your little village looks great to me and would fit right into Jack Skellington's Halloween Town!  I like the church-y building the best out of the lot and the ghosts peeking/escaping out of the windows are cool like a ghoul.

And yikes about your luminaries catching fire like that--I'd have had a heart attack too if something like that happened to me.  Hurray for your neighbor and his garden hose!

That looks like a terrific seasonal display. I hope you can store it for future years, how fun to set up your spooky village again and again.
