Guys, I'm a little short on time and my 11 yo niece has always kind of wanted to dress up like Batgirl. I'm trying to come up with something in short time but honestly, I'm not sure I'll have the time to build it from scratch. So I'm thinking of buying half the staff from some sale and then do my trick on it. But I'm looking for more recommendations. As in suggestions for what I can use and places where I can get basic parts for a little less.

Black leggings, a long sleeve black shirt and you can cut out felt for any lettering. A simple mask and cat ears would work too.

Use a black leotard and black tights.  The cape can be made from black and yellow felt.  If you use felt or foam you can make the mask and other accessories without sewing.  I searched "batgirl diy" on pinterest and there are several good tutorials. Good luck!
