I'm definitely in!

Carol, I have a photo for you from AIMR, sloth, and me that we took at the Canada Meet Up. Sorry that I never got it printed and sent to you. You were definitely in our hearts those days in Hamilton.

all would love to have it am still at the same place haven't moved LOL

Problem is that my printer hates photo paper so I'd have better luck just e-mailing the file. Send me your e-mail address in a pm and I'll track down the shots for you.

Semi off topic:
I need help choosing a simple, fast quilt pattern for a 3-4 year old girl. I have 7 fabrics to make a toddler quilt. 1 has 1.3 yards (darkest, a solid green), 1 has 1 yard (lightest, cream with 1/2 inch bug print) & 5 has .5 yard each (all pastel blues & greens prints). Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm drawn to a log cabin but there is not enough contrast in the prints.

Oh, hey, we're back! Ish. I'd love to join if I remember that I'm alive in January. Cheesy

For the simple quilt block suggestion I'm too tired to envision your things properly, but I'm always attracted to making friendship stars. You only need contrast enough between star and background, and then mix the fabrics however they fall. Smiley Though if the patterns are fun enough, Trip Around The World or simply 9 patch are really cozy, and demand little to no contrast at all.

I'm ready to start piecing blocks. I'm avoiding cleaning my house & looking at quilt block patterns. :-)

Several months have gone by and, as we all know, stuff happens and plans change. What's the current status on this swap? Are we still on or is this on the back burner?
