1000 yards of lace weight 50/50 silk polwarth blend



This one's going to be mittens that make their way to Germany! 100% Merino, woollen spun and chain plied.

I just adore the yarn for the future mittens! Is it Goldenrod? With an Ecru!

Stunning.

It's a blend of 4 colours.  One I dyed with honey mustard with a bit of black, some bright yellow-orange, a brown and pale ripe wheat colour.  Goldenrod is an excellent description of the results!

I'm not the one knitting them!  I spun it up for someone on request.  I have no idea how they'll turn out, but I'm sure I'll get pictures.  I'll try to remember to share them in this thread when I have pics!
