I hate to throw out a whole man when I fussy cut these prints for the Hot Dishes! potholders that I make. So I have set some aside and finally gotten to appliqueing a few onto some terrycloth kitchen towels!

I'll be taking these to our friends' annual barter party this weekend! I hope I get around to making some more with the multi-pack of towels I bought just for this! Here is a blooper: I had run out of bobbin thread and when I looked down I noticed that the pin made it look like this fella had a cute tooth gap.

Gee, I've been living in Minnesota for six months, and kept hearing references to hot dishes.  I thought they were potluck food.  Thanks for opening my eyes.

I'd hate to throw out a whole man, too.
