I made an octopus menorah!

I didn't make the octopus; I bought it and attached candle cups.

Cthulhu is really Jewish, who knew?  Grin

Awesome aquatic spin on a familiar object!  Are the candle holders just glued on or welded (the octopus looks like metal)?

Yes, the octopus is made out of metal.  I attached the cups using a product called JB Weld HighHeat.  It's dark gray, so after it cured I covered it using a gold paint pen.  It feels like the attachment is pretty sturdy.

I let the candles burn all the way down under direct observation before I posted the project, to make sure nothing would come apart or catch fire, since I haven't worked with these materials before.

Thank you to all for the positive comments!
