Never one to waste space I made reversible Thanksgiving/Christmas decor!
I took 7 blocks (made from 2X4s)
2-7"x4"
2-6"x4"
2-5"x4"
1-7"x2.5"
I sanded them and stained them the night before.
I cut scrapbook paper 1/2" less than the blocks all around and Mod Podged it on there, when it dried I used to Cricut to cut out letters, 6", 5", and 4" tall.  For the centerpiece I cut words 1.8"x6"
I also took 20.5 wine corks and made a pumpkin/snowman.  I hot glued them in rows of 3,4,5,4,3 and then sliced the remaining wine cork in half for the stem/hat.  I cut the leaves and top hat from felt and hot glued those on too (who needs fingerprints?!?)
I am so happy I get to display this from now until after Christmas!

The wine cork punkin/snowman

WHOA! That is just so clever! I love when people make things twice as useful and I love how you swtiched up the placement of the horizontal block.

I've made cork trees, but never a snowman or a pineapple!   Shocked  What did you use to stick yours together?  I used both hot glue and E-6000 and still some of the corks stopped sticking.   Tongue

I used hot glue. They bonded almost instantly. I bought wine corks from Michael's which was nice because they were all fresh and clean. I don't drink wine so I couldn't hoard any

What a great idea!  I love holiday decor, but I hate pulling it all out/putting it all away, and finding storage for all of it.  This would cut that in half!
