i finally got around to testing out my purse making skills last week:

i made this one for my friend for her birthday, i drew out the camera design myself and spent 2 hours embroidering it!

and then i made this one for myself so i wouldn't have to drag my friend around to show off my mad skills  Wink

oh yeah, i lined them both with that hot pink fabric that i used for a background and attached snaps to the lining. thanks to jordy for the tutorial!

i feel your embroidery pain.  my 'purse with dog embroidery' took me an hour for that little dog!!  i used the chain stitch instead of the one that you used.  i might have to follow your plan next time.  but i guess i just wanted a more fuzzy dog.

awesome job though!!

Excellent job on the embroidery! I really liked both of them, did they take a long time?

It takes a lot of money to look this cheap.

those are adorable! great job on your stitches!  i think the time it takes to embroider is soo worth it; everyone drools over the finished product making it all worth it!!

dmckenzie100 they are quite time consuming. i think the camera one took about 5 hours start to finish. 2 just embroidering!

BearyPerky thanks Smiley
