 I received from CuriousFae last week. It was a super crazy week. Sorry for the delay in posting these. They gave me serious swap anxiety. They are AMAZING. I love them so much!
 First up, these lovely ladies. So much class and sass!

My favorite, of course, is Louise! Those cats are fantastic too.

 She also sent along all these beautiful extras.

 Thank you so much! You are a master at these. I hope you continue making them so we can see more from you!

thanks for all the kind words!

i agree, those metallic backgrounds are beautiful. the placement of the butterfly on the last one is perfect. i will definitely be using that technique for inspiration for future coins.

I got my coins from Joyfulclover!

The ever so clever JoyfulClover did a mashup of two of my themes: Bob's Burgers and tarot. I love a good mashup!

Bob as the King. King of Burgers, if you will. He is the typical archetype for the king in the tarot. Among other things he is a skilled burger craftsman, provides for his family and is, at times, the voice of reason.
He is depicted in his sun hat that he wore when he (briefly) had a plot at the community garden.

Linda as the Queen. Linda is Bob's wife and mother to their three kids. Linda and the tarot Queens are nurturing, caring and creative. Linda is a great mom and wife. She would do anything for them. Life is one big musical and she has a starring role. This coin is from a scene where she dreams of Bob and the kids taking her out on the water after they take sailing lessons.

Tina as the Page. Pages represent someone young and innocent, just starting to understand their place in the world. This fits Tina to a T since she is in the midst of puberty and crazy for boys and butts exploring both with passion and enthusiasm.
This coin is from a scene where she is playing the part of Katherine, Tess McGill's boss, in Working Girl: the musical.

Gene as the Fool. The Fool card gets a bad rap. From the name you probably picture a jester or someone acting like a moron but in tarot the Fool is more naive than moronic; more innocent than idiotic. The Fool is at the beginning of a journey into the unknown. Which would describe Gene, especially when it comes to his sound effects and food. He is very experimental with both.
This scene is of Gene wearing a gorilla mask that he got from Peter Pescadero for showing him how to pop and lock.

And finally, Louise as the Knight. Typically the Knight in tarot is someone who is very passionate and ambitious. They are slightly more mature and worldly than the Page but not quite as cultured and wise as the King and Queen. You might not expect Louise as a 9 year old to be these things but she is that and so much more. Calculating and extreme are two words that come to mind.
This is the perfect scene! Here is Louise as a Knight in a tale she tells for her Aunt based on Game of Thrones, her character much like Brienne of Tarth's.

Thank you so much JC. This was super fun. Great execution and fantastic job illustrating these!

I am so glad you like them, curiousfae! Your mashup inspired the rest of my partners. And I'm so relieved to know I picked the right ones!  Although, should the Knave be the Page? There seemed to be a lot of thoughts and I finally just picked.

All of the "coins" are so cool so far. I'm enjoying seeing the interpretation of the themes. Very creative on the Bob's Burgers ones! I can't wait to see more!

Curse of the Bad Decisions strikes again!  pioneer9 received the coins I sent to her, but asked me to post photos because the lamination is causing fits with her camera. Whoop whomp

I tried mashups of all her topics and hope I got close! Enjoy!

* typewriter / X Company / whimsical animals
* crow / circus
* steampunk / anatomical heart
* inspired by Pinterest / whimsical monster
