Oblio and Arrow from Harry Nilsson's The Point:

Did ya'll know that the boy who played Bobby Brady on the Brady Bunch voiced the part of Oblio?!

I did not know that, wow.

If you are Canadian or familiar with Canadian media, you may know about a show starring Al Waxman called The King of Kensington, filmed in Kensington Market in Toronto. It is a magical place.
In the intro to the show, Al tosses an apple to a wee lad in overalls. That child is my son's papa. Weird and wonderful man, weird and wonderful.

I just got an overstuffed envelope from madcrafter:

First, an actual ATC-sized book for my "books" theme (yay!)

...and this utterly amazing dimensional furry monster card for my daughter.

Ugh, it's like Thanos, ok?  the long E is the feminine ending.  (Also, I prefer *not* to destroy the universe when possible.)
Thann-uh-tay, no "nate".

I have received two ATCs in the mail, yay!

The first is from craftylittlemonkey.  It was a "tbd" and she went with my Halloween theme.  The kitty has a little mask and it's flocked... oooh, tactile!  She also sent a ton of extras, which you may be seeing on future ATCs Wink  Thank you, craftylittlemonkey!

The next ATC is from ChameleonHound.  It was another "tbd" and she went with my Halloween toads theme.  The toad on this is also tactile, although I don't know what it is made from.  The purple hat is shiny in person.  She also sent extras including plastic ATC sleeves which are much appreciated.  I'm wondering if the sleeves my husband uses for the playing cards for his fancy games will work on these... hm...  Thank you, ChameleonHound!

That furry monster is fantastic!

The toad is made from some paper I stashed who knows when. I thought it was a good toad texture. Smiley
And yes, the sleeves you get in the trading-card section of box stores is totally the right size. I learned that for the pocket letter swap.

I actually decided to give away my leftover plastic sleeves to push myself to use up my seed packets (which sometimes backfires!) and some stash paper for envelopes. There are some cute atc-sized patterns online that you can make 4 per 12" square scrapbook page.

Nice!  I've been collaging images from seed packets onto my seed box.  I received the seed box in a gardening swap YEARS ago and it's still doing great, I'm just adding images to it.

That's cool! If/when I join the next ATC swap, I'll have to send some extras to you!
