I've been able to self-care the heck outta myself by making this diorama over the last few days! Hoo boy.

The box (minus roof & attic) is 4 3/8" (11cm) square, the fixtures are vintage Fisher Price Little People accessories. I made this almost entirely from stash! The only purchased pieces are the paper mache box and some jewelry findings. Less than $5 outlay.

And now a bazillionty detail shots. I'll start with the interior!

The TP holder, towel ring, soap dish, and top bit on each of the light globes are made from the jewelry findings.
I added "water" to the toilet bowl! It's from a cough lozenge blister pack. Teehee!

The exterior bits! The frosted window side has siding, the other side is what I like to think of as part of the wall in the formal living room that you filthy kids are not allowed to go into except when fancy company is there and only if you wash your hands.

The top is a slanted roof I added with thin basswood. The attic is all unfinished framing lumber and "fiberglass" insulation.

This is going to go in my own WC among a collection of potty-related pieces in a gallery wall arrangements.

Thanks, friends!

The 70s aren't my favorite interior design era, but I did grow up in it so am sentimental enough about it that I had a lot of fun trying to capture that vibe.

BAHAHAAAA! Yup, but this one's classy! See, no turds in the crapper.

Thanks! Here is the owl before I painted it. It is from a box of plastic and "plastic" charms that were my grandmother's. I had already cut the loop off, but part of it is in the photo.
