Don't lose faith! There is a rolling postal strike on in Canada right now so everything is delayed. I have my fingers crossed those gorgeous goodies make it to our friend in the northern north sooner than later, I have a feeling they will arrive at just the right moment to make her day Smiley.

That would have been a totally perfect package for me. Papercrafting AND a zippered pouch AND soap? Damn. I really appreciate all the effort you went to, jemimah.

jemimah, your package was truly BEAUTIFUL!  I'm sorry it seems to have been lost in the transit, since it deserves to be enjoyed.  Thank you so much for posting pictures of your work for all of us.  Smiley

jemimah, what a fantastic package! I really hope it's a victim of the postal strike and isn't truly lost. I am in love with that stamp that you carved- I have trouble getting such neat edges on my images, so I am very impressed. And, I adore the little patchwork section on the zipper pouch (and I am a sucker for zipper pouches...). Fingers crossed your lovely work eventually makes it to its destination!

I received from my angel for this swap, nodsu. They sent me a necklace and a pouch and some funky little extras.

lip chap, some stickers, and a faux berry stem  Smiley

The strawberry pendant has a very interesting combination. The leaves are either some of the tiniest crocheting I've seen, or cut free stumpwork embroidery, if that's even possible. The berry is lightweight, but extremely smooth. It feels like it could be paper mache, except I've never seen mache so glossy and slick.
The pouch has a variety of textures too. The bag itself is a felted sweater, I think? But it's got more of the Huh on the edges, and a ribbon woven around the centre, and of course the beading.

Thanks for all the detail work, nodsu!

Yay! It finally arrived! And so glad you like it!

The strawberry is polymer clay with glass seed beads and a coat of resin and leaves are freehand stumpish embroidery.
And yes- the pouch is fulled sweater with a ton of freehand embroidery on the sides (so is the white patch on it- embroidered that with vintage cotton thread and added the red beads ... I forgot which stone that was) and the leaf pull on the zipper is also stumpwork embroidery (I really enjoy freehand stitching 😄)

Glad it arrived!

I agree that jemimah's original package was ace! But, the replacement package was fantastic as well! I love that pouch Smiley

And, I just realized that I never did a close-up picture of the chocolate covered strawberries for the scarf that bethntim made me. I'll do it this weekend Smiley
