I love this!!! My Mom made a few of these in the 90s. She used Christmas tree stands as a base. The lamp base is brilliant.

This is amazing!  Everything worked out just so!  I would have never guessed the horse didn't have his original pole!  Have you ever thought to checkout the Allan Herschell Carrousel Museum's webpage?  They are a huge Merry Go Round and amusement park ride maker from the early 1900's and their museum is just down the street from me Smiley
