My creating of potty-joke decorations for a larger home dec project keeps rolling along! After 6 different cross stitch projects, I came up with a paper project! This is based on a few different Andy Richter scenes (here and another scene I can't find online) from the movie Elf where he's spit-balling ideas for a children's book.

I used my Cricut to cut the asparagus spears with a file I bought on Etsy.

All the papers were from stash, as were the googly eyes. I picked up the frame at a local thrift store for 95 cents, then covered it with wood grain scrapbook paper. I found "finger frame" clipart that I altered a bit in Cricut Design Space to cut the hands from the scrapbook paper, then glued to basswood and cut the basswood out with a craft knife. I glued paper to the backs, too, to help insure against warping. Same with the plaque at the top.

Hahaha! I know so many people that this would be appropriate for. Very well done! And, I love the googly-eyed asparagus spears!

This is hilarious.  Good job with the color choices.  Your background allows the green spears to pop.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Hahahaha! Great addition to your potty room. With all of the hilarious art to admire, your guest won't feel self conscience about spending an inordinate amount of time in there.

And YAY googly eyes!
