Ooh, a finished parcel! *squee!* exciting!
I found something I needed yesterday (it's not strawberry season, they've been impossible to find!) & today is a crafting day. I just need to consolodate ideas, I have way too many.

Oh shoot, that reminds me that I'm still out of white floss. What a thing.

I am so goofy. I went out for fabric & trim but forgot the white floss! I can't even believe I did that Tongue.

Friday afternoon check-in question....  What is everyone's favorite strawberry food?  Strawberry jam on toast?  Strawberry smoothie after a tough workout?  Strawberry cheesecake, shared with your significant other?  Or strawberry cheesecake hoarded all to yourself?   Cheesy

And while we're at it, how are you all doing on this sweet little swap?

Personally, I have been working like gangbuster's on a graphghan for my hair stylist's wedding.  I did some math and realized there was no way to finish it in time to see her at my next appointment on the 22nd.  Folks, NEVER underestimate how much being nice to a receptionist can be!  I called the salon and talked to Marcus, the very nice young man who man's their front desk, and begged him to move my appointment as far out as he could, before she actually leaves for her wedding.  When I explained why I wanted to move it, he asked, 'Wait, did you bring Mikinzie & I that unicorn drink a few months ago?'  Yes Marcus, I did in fact bring you a unicorn beverage on April Fool's, when I made them for Craftster's prank.  That man got me an extra 19 days on the clock!  So, now that I have a bit more breathing room, I dove into this swap more hardcore this afternoon.  I had already been amassing a few goodies and extras to include, and had picked up some supplies, but was starting to fret about not having done much actual work yet.  Feeling a whole lot better now.  Smiley

Chocolate covered strawberries!!!!! I could eat my weight in those things. Seriously-I won't even share them.

I am doing okay-a bit frantic. I have a bunch of swaps due at one time and I hope that the crafts I am making will measure up.

That's a tough question! Homemade strawberry jam (more berry flavoured than sugar flavoured) on a fresh croissant would be hard to beat for me, accompanied by a large cappuccino with cinnamon Smiley

I'm going to get some serious crafting done this weekend, for this swap and couple of others! Hauling out various supplies and taking over the dining table as I write....
