The ManFlesh loves to cook and does so every weekend or anytime he has a day off from his day job*! After xmas he got a sous vide machine and LOVES using it. And talking about it... to anyone who will listen or pretend to listen. One of his foodie friends has even changed The ManFlesh's ID on his phone to Sous Vide.  Roll Eyes

I used my Cricut to cut the freezer paper stencil and got the image from this knuckle tattoo generator.

He fetched his chef's toque for the action shot!

Wow! I love the way the image came out in a darker brownish color, and I love the way the drips look. I havent done any bleaching before... how do you wash it without the bleach fading other areas?

Thanks, pals!

He does love a costume! Now a serious photo? Really rare.

I think the brown color is because I "over saturated" and the bleach wicked under the stencil. It does look cool, but was not was I was going for! I have rinsed with two methods. Mostly I set it up in the tub/shower to spray the bleach then use the handheld shower to rinse when it has bleached as much as I want. This time I sprayed it outside on the clothesline, so I had a 5-gallon bucket of water at the ready to dunk it in. Probably about 3 gallons of water in the bucket and that seems like enough to stop the bleaching process and then I hold it under running water. So far, I have always had something inside the shirt to block the bleach from going through to the back.

This looks professionally designed and printed - with different layers and techniques. The space around the fists look as if its painted horizontal to imitate wood, and then it just bleeds down into liquid.

Your aesthetic is always so clean and unique. Love seeing your work.

The color seems like a happy accident! And, thanks for the added info on the process. I definitely want to try it, and I think youve given me a bit of courage. Smiley
