Hi I have just started to needle felt and loving it so much, I decided to do something small to start with so I have made the skeleton and have wrapped it and felted it, I found it really relaxing.  I hope to make this into a small Sheltie collie and send it to a friend of mine (if it looks good) as she has just lost her Sheltie to old age.  I know it will take some time to make but I have patience and want to make a good job of it.  I thought about felting for such a long time and finally decided to go for it.  I do knitting and crochet and I am an artist that paints in oils and I teach art....so I am finding this just like painting with fibres it is amazing, sorry if am sounding gushy but am so excited with how amazing it is.  I am looking forward to learning from everyone here  Smiley
Hope you all have a lovely day

Hi Rena,

fiber painting - that is exactly what is so wonderful about needle-felting
That combo of colour layering and precision

Looking forward to your perspective on needle felting here
