I've been wanting to make some paper clay barnacles for awhile now and finally got around to it.  I used this site as a guide (http://www.designsponge.com/2012/07/diy-project-paper-clay-barnacles.htm).  I then made the "coral rock" the barnacles are attached to by using a half of a Styrofoam ball covered with hot glue My next step was to make more "succulent plants".  This time I used a lot of seed pods that I glued together in addition to the pine cones.  I am pretty pleased with how it all came together.

Pretty cool creation!  Seeing something like this on the beach would definitely make me stop in my tracks and step in for a closer look.  Barnacles really aren't something that you see in art very often either, so, I appreciate that you took that alternative approach for your newest succulent arrangement.  I haven't done it in a long time, but you really can make some fun shapes and textures covering an object with hot glue.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.
