Hey everyone, thanks for looking! This is my very first large scale completed quilt! The pattern I found on Etsy is called Modern Foxes, by Sew Fresh Quilts. I have made this for a friend expecting her first baby. As you can see, at approximately 44" 48", it is bigger than a normal baby quilt. I asked her if she would like the option to hang it, so I added pockets to uppper edge. All the fabrics are Kona solids.

I took finished pictures on my vacation to Washington DC (and partially finished at Shenandoah National Park) at our cabin in Cherry Hilk Park. Isn't it the perfect setting?

For quilting, I hand quilted around the edges everything, then added in a few whimsical butterflies flying around. You can see these in the upclose pictures.

The border was machine sewed on the front and hand binded in the back.

I noticed the Kona solids bleed a bit, so when I get home, I will gently wash with color stay sheets.

The whole quilt took me about a month off and on. I don't have any tags, so I think I might cut out something on my Cricut to label it.

Thanks for looking!

This is so cute! And so well made with all of your detail work. One of these days, maybe Ill develop enough patience for quilting. (But I doubt it... Maybe I just need to become good friends with a generous quilter like you!)
