very cool! You had a much better success than I did with my 1940s dress pattern! I learned a valuable lesson about vintage patterns - the drawings on the front are very, very idealised and your finished product will end up looking only slightly like the picture. Sad

Agreed! Altho I havent made anything from those vintage patterns, I have seen some of the new "Reto Butterick" and stuff like that ...they show the original art and then a pic near it of the actual thing and it doesnt look much like the drawing.

Oh ya and I Love the shirt still! But it looks just like a rectangle with ties at the shoulders and a little wider at the bottom? I bought Wuzzle patterns off Ebay but I couldnt resist....and thrift stores here only have funky gross 80s patterns. So I do the 1 dollar sales at fabric stores, and get inspiration from places like this Wink
