I have been making chapstick folders.  I reckon they make great stocking fillers or fundraisers.

I looked at them on your blog and they are very pretty!
Do they hold the chapstick by folding a strip of paper inwards from the 'spine' of the folder?

I wrapped a strip of card over the chapstick. Then I folded the ends of the card around a base piece of card and then glued that to the spine... Does that make sense or should I do a photo tut?

Never heard of chapstick folders before, but that's a neat way to dress up an everyday object and make it special.  I like the two butterfly samples the best but the dove is pretty sweet too; great job!

I've seen many versions of these on the internet, using the spine as BeaG mentions.  Yours are nicer as the folder is complete and make a nice presentation!  These would be good as party favors or part of teacher gifts (or any little thank you to someone whose services you appreciate).

Thanks everyone.  They would be a lovely little thing to make for selling at school fetes to raise funds.  The possibilities are endless. If you are making them for someone that you know perhaps a lip gloss in their favourite brand my be a nice addition

Oh, they are great! Perfect for school sales, the balm & packaging could so easily be personalized.
