I got to meet up with two of my besties in one of their home stomping grounds last week! Of course we always bring gifties to our gatherings and I made these airmail/postcard-inspired mug rugs to go with.

They include quilting, embroidery, stamping, and applique, so I decided to put them in the Miscellaneous Section.

The postage stamps (and the front photo) are printed on cotton that goes through an inkjet printer. The photo was taken the last time we were all in one place, almost two years ago.

I used rubber stamps for the cancellation mark, the divider line, and the "Post Card" words with ink meant to be permanent on fabric.

I have a love of post-related imagery, so I was able to do this all from stash and materials on hand!

Thanks! Well... the first time I printed all the stuff I accidentally printed it in grey scale. D'oh! So I have all the parts ready to go, but mine will be B/W... except the binding.
