I recently joined the Games Swap and my partner really likes Pokemon. I knew I wanted to make her a purse that would be bright and fun so I went to a couple different fabric stores and finally settled on this fabric. I let her pick out the pattern. It's the Daffodil Tote by BlueCallaPatterns. I did the larger version here minus the patchwork on the front because I couldn't find enough Pokemon fabric to do that with. The purse is approximately 16 W x 9.5 H x 5.5 D.

The purse has two handle types, short and long, depending on how the user wants to carry it. One side has a large pocket along with a zippered pocket.

And the other side has the front pocket divided into two.

It has a zippered top. The top doesn't close the entire way though. Which I thought was okay once it was finished. Inside is another zippered pocket....

... and a slip pocket as well.

Inside the pocket was more of the printed Pokemon fabric but I forgot to get a pic of that.

I can't take all the credit for the purse though. My fur baby, Egon, did his usual quality control.

Impressive work.  The fabric is so much fun.  I'm sure kitty was a big help, lol.

I love my purse! And I love that it has the open spaces at the ends of the zipper because it's perfect for reaching in to grab a snack!
That last photo of Egon in the bag is so cute! Kiss

Great execution of what looks like a very cool purse pattern! I love how bright it is. I doubt you'll ever see another one quite like it. You'll never get it mixed up with another purse at a party! Wink

That turned out great! The coordinating fabrics really all show each other off.

Teehee, kitty!

The bag looks great and I agree the open spaces at the ends are unusual but seem to work very well with the shape. And, as mentioned, they are practical in practice and that's what a good bag is all about.

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

Love you all, thank you so much for everything. XO
