May the force be ever in your favor, Mr. Potter.

Got a Wreck this Journal for my birthday and have been slowly filling pages in.  Well when my girlies went to camp this week I tried to plow through it and finally finish up months and months later.  And it's finally done!  I think I want it as a coffee table book for our Harry Potter themed movie room.

A wreck journal has prompts on every page that at first was easy to fill HP style... write one word over and over again... but then there were ones like tie a string around the book that I had a hard time thinking of a way to fulfill the page with a HP specific thing.  In the end I cheated on some pages and covered with my favorite quotes instead, but it's my book I'll play it how I want lol.  I was getting really irritated at this book by the end, so I probably won't ever make another wreck journal.  Was fun in the beginning but by the end I just wanted to put the book away for another year.

My goal for this book was to put every page a HP theme, but do all different kinds of art in it.
Inside is: paint, pen, printed pages, stickers, oil pastel, colored pencil, graphite, water color, string, pastel, vinyl, postcards, trading cards, stamps, sharpie, tea coloring, wax, puff paint, punches, washi tape.

I'm happy it's done!
Thanks for looking

That looks really cool! I love the little videos you post, I need to learn how to do that.

I'd never have the ambition to finish something like this, so, kudos to you for sticking with it!  I also appreciate the videos, as those give a much more accurate feel for what one of these journals is really like than still images would.  I'm sure something like this will be fun to leaf back through every now-and-then, especially years down the road.

I second the kudos for finishing this. The finished product is so much fun to look at!

I always thought that such tasks are quite boring, but I've changed my mind when my wife showed me a youtube channel where people were sharing their final results.
Nice mix of styles! You must be proud of yourself, it's a difficult challenge after all, but you've made it.
