I absolutely adore Pixie Hill Studios. She recently made a video and pattern for this dress form. This is my first time trying it and I think it turned out okay. I want to make more-especially holiday themed ones (HALLOWEEN!). The only way to get better is to practice, right?

Butterflies & cupcakes! Super cute.
I'm going to print off the template for my daughter & I to play with, this is just the sort of girlie thing she adores. I'll have to revisit your video tutorial for making those flowers too. Thanks for sharing Pam!

I'd never heard of Pixie Hill Studios before, but I went to her blog and checked out the how-to video.

I think your paper dress came out fine and I love the base as well.  I really liked the fairy wings Nichola did on her example; given the items you chose to decorate your creation, I think a pair of butterfly wings would have looked great on yours.

Awhile back, I bought a Monster High doll washi tape dressmaking kit & form, for making paper outfits similar to this, and, of course, I've done nothing with it! Cheesy

Thanks all!

I might go back and put them on. I need to get some transparent paper to make them. Actually, I might have bigger butterflies around the house I can use. Hmmmmm....

Cute!  Love all of the little goodies you used to embellish your fairy dress!  I bet they can't wait for spring to wear these lovely little dresses!
