I saw an ad for a "Magic Embroidery Pen" come up in my Instagram feed.  It's basically a punch needle but I got sucked in and ordered one because it's "magic."  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077CXGJMK/ref=asc_df_B077CXGJMK5436935/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395033&creativeASIN=B077CXGJMK&linkCode=df0&hvadid=230750746070&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16962873804943846387&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9028880&hvtargid=pla-386668516761

Has anyone done embroidery with a punch needle?  Just wondering what to expect since it's taking for dang ever to get here.

Onyxnox!

My gran used to do needle punching. It's super cool.

Cherie posted this recently too.

It's been on my to-do list for awhile - I did buy a kit, pen, and hoop for it years ago.  It's how I discovered how wonderful Morgan hoops are because they hold the fabric drum tight.  It does give lovely texture.

I kind of want one of them. I remember them from the 70's.

Here is my review: it's hard to get the hang of, especially if you can't find the right fabric. 100% cotton is not good.
