Choose a template that will create at least 8 cards for your partner.  Send a copy of the template to your partner so they can enjoy your work and possibly recreate your style in the future.  Your patterned paper should be 12 inches x 12 inches or equivilent (such as 4 6 x 6 sheets).

Each participant will be partnered up with one other person.  You may sign up for more than one partner (up to 3 partners).

Prior to crafting take a picture of your paper for a before photo.  Please post the before photo in the gallery after your partner has posted.

I've never heard of this method before.  Sounds interesting.  I'll have to determine if I have enough free time to join a swap.

What a fantastic idea! Going to have a play this weekend to have a go before decide whether to sign up - would like to have an idea of time it takes.

Hope you do!  I've read that a lot of people like the OSW as it is a quick way to make a batch of cards because it takes the guess work out of layouts.

Hope you do sign up. Smiley  And if you wanted to share your results on how long it took you to make a set I'd love to hear the results.

So, I had a go yesterday evening Smiley I used 1 sheet of 12"x12" and 2 A4 sheets of black and I mostly used a glue roller thingy, as there is less waiting time for glue to dry. I used a mix of the glue roller, actual glue and foam sticky pads when adding them to the cards.

To get the template measured and drawn up, cut out and layered on to black and cut out again took just under an hour. Obviously this would be quicker if you choose not to layer, but I do like the way it has ended up looking. I think it would also get quicker the more you did - as I was following a tutorial (https://www.craftsy.com/paper-crafts/article/one-sheet-wonder/) I had to keep checking and I did keep everything numbered as suggested. If I did more, I would be less worried about the numbering and trust myself more.

Then I spent the best part of two hours (but whilst watching TV, so was distracted occasionally Smiley) to add some ribbon, twine, etc. and to stick them to the card blanks. This tutorial/template results in 14 cards.

I love the fact that some of them could be used portrait or landscape and that you can make them as fancy or as plain as you like. I looked at several tutorials and liked this one best because it was quite simple. I do love the look of them as is, but I do love that you can also use coordinating papers to make them fancier. I have only completed one card so far, because I was excited to share Smiley

Definitely going to sign up now - will go get my questionnaire filled in Cheesy
