Hey Guys!

I've been creating a lot lately, just not posting a lot. Here are some of my recent pieces. Most are watercolour but I took the plunge and decided to try oils for the first time ever last night and did a portrait of my daughter. I totally enjoyed the process. About to do one of my middle son after this post, actually!

I really like these, particularly the crone. Or rather, matriarch? She is perhaps not quite in the crone phase of life and while matriarch is not a commonly recognized element (in favour of the triad), it's the phase of life I'm coming up to myself and I appreciate seeing it represented.

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

and remember, ALWAYS USE THE GOOD BEADS, YARN, FABRIC!

Beautiful!  I also like the older woman with the horns the best out of the lot, and the woman with the dragonfly collar and mushrooms in the background is my second favorite, but they're all stunning pieces--you definitely have a lot of talent!  The subject matter of the final one is kind of disturbing--what's the story there?  (If it's too personal, I'll understand if you don't want to answer.)

Thanks so much, everyone! Im quite partial to the crone, myself!

As for the last one, theres just such a rising feminine energy right now and I felt a need to
Paint the angst Smiley

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

It's exciting to see your new work as it's always a pleasure to see. Your daughter's portrait is truly wonderful!
