I'm of the opinion that one can never have too many tote bags. Also, I had a lot of yarn left after finishing a rainbow afghan for my son, and this project was a good way to use up quite a bit of it.

I have a few bags like this and they're great all-purpose bags...trips to the farmer's market, going to the beach, apple picking, toting around all of my kids' stuff, etc.

The inspiration for this project came from this pattern and this bag I saw on Pinterest. I had made the original pattern a couple years ago, and modified it by changing the lace pattern. I think my lace looks like the radioactive symbol. Cheesy It makes my nerdy self happy.

Very pretty.  I don't know why but I love the handles.

If I were having a bad or mediocre day, all i would have to do it sling this around my shoulder for guaranteed change.

I love this bag, I would take it everywhere. It's so uber bright and cheerful, it's just amazing.

When I saw the "radioactive" description in this thread's title, I assumed you were referring to the bright colors, but, I can see what you mean about your lace pattern resembling that symbol (you could probably make a case for the biohazard one as well).  Great, vibrant bag and the ventilated pattern gives it a nice textural appearance as well.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
