Yesterday I bought some cheap stretch denim jeggings for 5...  I added a bit of embroidery on the bottom of the leg seam. They look so much nicer

Pretty cool and a great way to make them one-of-a-kind; I like that you did the plants asymmetric is length/size too!

They do look much nicer!  I have wanted to do something like this for a while.  In fact I bought a green wool coat at Goodwill about a year ago to do exactly this, but haven't gotten around to yet.  I've also thought of adding a lace hem to jeans to add interest too.

I love the idea of a lace hem on jeans.. I may give that a try.

It looks great! Was it difficult to do? I tried doing some embroidery/boro on my daughter's worn jeans and had a hard time with the toughness of the fabric and the awkward limited space within the leg of the fabric.

So cute! I used to do that to my pants in high school. I think my mom has something with flowers she still wears.
Averia the trick I used was to insert a piece of card board into the pants leg. That holds the fabric taut & keeps you from stitching into the other side of the leg.

I had problems just getting my hand in there - adult sized pants, but size 2, so not really full sized adult size.
