I really like silk thread, because I believe it's got a little magic in it. Scientists say when silk has a little moisture an electrical field on it gets activated. So when your sewing with silk you absorb a little bit of it's magic. After I post 10 Times I'll have to come back to this and post some of my magestic silk embroidery. If you have a silk embroidery project you did just post it here.

Your work is so magestic!  I bet the silk gives the embroidery such a nice smooth look with a shiny bit of shine...it must be very time consuming to fill in all of the parts, but it is worth it...

Your next project looks like a photo!

Yeah it's done by cross stitching and can be done in a few days on and off working on it.

OMG these are gorgeous.  I love the birds, so real looking.  Your stitching is so neat and clean looking.

Very nice. I haven't worked with silk myself, just plain old cotton embroidery thread. I looked it over a few times and I don't think that is cross stitch though, perhaps that has a different meaning where you are? Here it is small stitched x's that make up the pattern.

I believe it's long stitch...different relatives, same family  Grin
