Where is my Cosmo?

I am in love with the new chipboard paper theater Alpha Stamps is carrying. Here's what I made with mine:

It may appear large in that photo, but look how tiny! Without that spire on top, it's only 4" tall.

I gave the facade extra dimension using wooden spindles and duplicate images raised up with glue dots.

There were a lot of "performers" included on the AS collage sheet I used. Here are three of them making their big debut:

A very old theater near me has a night sky painted on their ceiling, which is just magical. I used a Night Sky scrapbook paper to mimic faux sky in my tiny theater.

The back of the theater has a poster that not only was tacked up crookedly, but is starting to come down. Maybe it's time to put up a new poster?

I hope you enjoyed my little theater. There are a ton more photos, including some in progress pictures plus a complete supply list on my blog, should you feel the need for more info or you want to make your own. Meanwhile, here's one last picture, with the entire cast in attendance.

Thanks for checking it out!

I like how you had dimension to otherwise flat pieces!  The spindles are really nice!

I do love that theater with the night sky ceiling...a clever little detail in your own mini theater!

The players are very cute...especially the goats!

OMG! I want season tickets to this theater! I just love the sky ceiling and that it is inspired by a local landmark. And that detail of the crooked and dilapidated poster on the back is just right!

Your tiny theatre is FANTASTIC!  I love all the little details, from the wood spindles, to the missing poster tack on the back.  I'm not sure if you're a fan of podcasts or not, but Stuff You Missed in History Class did a great episode on the history of the Theatre du Grand-Guignol, which yours has the title of on the marquee.  They became known for putting on the most grizzly and gruesome plays in Paris, with patrons passing out at the special effects blood and gore, and is credited with leading to the entire genre of horror films.  I'm not actually a horror fan myself, but the podcast was fascinating (and certainly not too gross for a non-horror fan to enjoy).  I highly recommend giving it a listen.  Wish I could Rock this!

It's so wonderful! The night sky is such a neat detail and the extra dimensional items are great adds. I want front row tickets, please.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

That theatre is so very small, yet you crammed ALL the magnificence into it!   Big love for your tiny circus theatre.
