I thrifted a 3X sized nightgown and was in LOVE with the gray plaid silky fabric, so I decided to upcycle- twice! I took it simple first, making a simple silk tank from the top half of the nightgown- which are all the rage right now. Then to use the rest of the skirt fabric, I decided on a pair of pants... yes, pants. My roommate gave me the idea of a pair of cropped, wide leg pants using the existing lace slits on the sides. I knew they would be an interesting turn out- and they are! I planned to wear them out and about but definitely think they could totally double as a cute PJ set with the top. I absolutely love their uniqueness and am so happy I didn't just make another boring skirt. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy these projects : )

That is crafty. look at all that material. You seem to be very skilled in fashion design. Personally I love silk, but I can get any materials you want. I used to drive around the industrial district in China on a motorcycle. I got all factory connections now. The industrial district is dangerous too, there's 3 wheel trucks with oversized loads that teeter totter all down the highway. If you want a good connection, I'm your man.

I'm a silk merchant at http://www.silksapphire.com
