I saw necklaces like these on Etsy and loved them. They were about $30 each though and I am cheap by nature. Tongue  I decided to figure out a way to make them myself.

My first set turned out really pretty but when I glued the bases to the globe they fogged up inside. I ended up finding some glue that worked and didn't fog them up but then I had to hold them closed forever to seal them. Still, I think they turned out cute and I am happy with them.
I made them in three different colors; pink, purple, and green crystals. I need to find more items that will fit in these globes. They have a straight spot at the bottom where the globe attaches so you have to raise whatever you put inside up a tad to avoid a weird distortion and so it can be seem clearly. I also added little crystal charms to the tops for some flare.

 Thanks for checking them out!

These are super cute! Where did you find the tiny globes and tiny crystals? I really like the touch of moss, too. How big are they when they are finished?

They are 20mmx30mm. So a little over 3/4" wide x just shy of 1 1/4" tall. Man, I prefer meters to inches any day. LOL! The opening at the bottom is slightly smaller. I got the globes off of Amazon and the crystals off of Etsy. I ordered a bunch of crystal chips and colored them with alcohol ink. These were the colors I thought turned out best.  Smiley

I am so glad you liked yours EdelC! It took so long to send because I had to find the right glue. I used jewelry glue first and it fogged up. I didn't want to use E6000 because it says it causes cancer but.... I ended up using it outside.  Undecided

What a bummer about the ones that fogged up but the rest are just lovely. How clever to colour the crystals with alcohol inks! I've seen a variety of domes for sale on aliexpress, maybe I'll order some to play around with. Fun Smiley.

PSA announcement, aliexpress are having a sale in about 5-6 days, so add to your basket and check out on the sale day (they really should pay me commission!!)

Wow those are really fabulous little crystal environments; I half expect to see a little creature or alien peering out at us from behind one of the crystalline structures!

I don't wear necklaces, but these make it tempting to start!  Cheesy  Anyone sporting one will definitely be getting lots of comments and compliments from everyone they meet!

This is what I thought too!! They look like little alien worlds inside globes. They are sooooo cool!! Really pretty.
