With the hoodie I ordered, I feel it ran smaller than the size it was.

OK, I have to admit that I had no intention of doing the Craftster trading cards, but I was talking about it with Mr. Coo, and he said I should do it, it sounds like fun. (So wise!) I started them up yesterday, and I have been having fun with them. 12 down, 18+ to go...

Yay!  So glad you making your card Racky!  They are fun and a great way to share a little about yourself.  I love my collection so far!  Can't wait to see yours!  I need to start on mine soon.  Smiley

I have a plan for cards but doubt I will be able to see it through - life you know, gets in the way of my crafting way too often.

Maybe we should do a signup for those doing the card swap just so that we know how many to make.  I can do that if anyone thinks it's a good idea.

Wheeeee! CARDS! I'm not sure I can adequately express how excited I am about those little rectanglular treasures. I will make enough for everybody, even if some people aren't participating in the trade. Then y'all gonna remember us forever no matter what! SQUEE Cheesy

I know!  I LOVE my collection!  They are so fun to make and receive!  Just a little reminder that you can reproduce them in mass...it's not necessary to make them OOAK.  Smiley

I'm still trying to think of what do do on mine since I've already done myself as an adult and baby.  Hmm...

What about making yourself into a fantasy character? Maybe a superhero embodying your unique combination of actual superhero skills (scientist+mom+crafter+community difference-maker in your case. That list is probably incomplete.  Smiley). Or possibly putting your face onto various objects so they're so longer inanimate, or do a zetti-ish version of yourself with a whimsical stamped or collaged body. I keep picturing household appliances with stick-figure arms and legs, and a cutout of a person's face glued to the top of the appliance "torso". Another idea that could look interesting is to put a cutout of your face in the middle of the card and fill the rest of the card with a mandala or zentangle/doodling.

Does your household accumulate lots of dryer lint and empty toilet paper rolls? If you'll turn them into fire-starters for me, (stuff lots of lint inside the roll, fold edges, maybe add some candle wax), I'll happily send you something nice.
