Hi All,

When my wife and I had our preemie last year we had to spend a lot of time in the hospital.

They had a craft area where my wife and I created a very cool paper sword with my daughters first/last name.

Its 15 months later and one of the letters fell off and I just cant seem to find these stamp stickers anywhere. I was hoping someone can help me locate these for purchase so I can repair it and then frame it.

Maybe try calling the hospital and see which employee maintains the craft area.  Otherwise, some info please--are they stickers that are already sticky, have an adhesive that you apply water to so it is sticky, or something you have to glue on yourself?  Did they come on a roll or a sheet?  Were they machine-cut into individual letters or did you cut them youself?

I have not had luck yet but for some reason they remind me of wallpaper border.

I've never seen them before either, but I agree with excelsior that your best bet would probably be to contact the hospital staff and just ask (if you don't want to phone or make a physical visit, if you look on their web site, I imagine that you could find an e-mail address for general inquiries).  I wouldn't doubt that they have the catalog lying in a back room that they order those stickers from.

It was a good idea but I haven't been able to find anyone over there. Its the NICU so they are all pretty busy. Yes, already sticky, unsure on sheet/roll. I think they were machine cut.

Try calling the volunteers or hospital foundation in case it is something that is donated, or the volunteer services arranges it.  The health care staff would likely not be involved in the direct ordering of such things  - they would be more involved in the direct care of patients and family.  If it is something they pay for, then it may be better to find out who does the clerical work for the unit - ordering supplies, etc.

If you have the original sticker, I would just get some mod podge or gel medium and glue it back on.  If you know a paper crafter or anyone who is crafty, they may be willing to help you recreate it.
