I've wanted to make these for ages, not that we have a dog but many of our neighbours do. We had a lovely Sunday morning breakfast of bacon and eggs that yielded exactly 1/2 cup of bacon fat, perfect for a double batch of these:

The shapes are so fun! I left out the dog one though because dogs eating other dogs seemed weird to me.
A stroll on this unseasonably mild & sunny afternoon to deliver them to the neighbours, there are 5 households with very happy dogs in our 'hood today!

Yummy! You're the neighborhood dogs' favorite neighbor!

... but dogs eating fire hydrants is totally normal!  Cheesy Tongue Kiss

That's awfully nice of you to go through all that trouble for your neighbor's poochies!  If you lived on my street and did that, our dog would wolf the cookies down in ten seconds flat and them stowaway in your pocket (he's small) to go back to your house to obtain seconds, and thirds, and fourths . . .

I should ask, there are 2 more packages of bacon in the freezer for more if they did.
