I have been practically begging ANYONE to make me some of those microwave bowl holders that I have been seeing all over the place...but, no one, I mean, not one person, heeded my plea... Cry.  I know, I know...I sew, so why didn't I make my own...uh??...no more excuses...I had all of the supplies and just needed a few snow days and a final burned hand while eating my chili!

I had a stash of fabrics with peppers on them, which I really wanted to use.  I cut out three and sewed them right up...so easy...why did I wait so long?  Grin

Well, they were a bit small for some of my other bowls, so I tried a larger size...I will probably need a few sizes so I won't get burned after "cooking"....

But wait...where are they?  Hubby has found them and decided that they would make good chip bowls and ice cream bowls...*sigh* more projects are in my future...

Action shots:

10" size for larger bowl

mmmm chili on a snowy day in the 9" size

They are also reversible and 100% washable!

Thanks for looking!

No!  I grossly underestimated the amount of yarn I needed vs. the amount I bought and now I can't find the yarn anywhere...

I purchased my yarn from Wool Warehouse...they have DK yarn and inexpensive shipping!  I think it was where the CAL started...I found my large bag of yarn and also another CAL as well...I think I have 6 all together and must not join another! lol

They're adorable! Great way to use some stash - or at least transfer it to something useful in the kitchen.  Kiss
