You sound like an international smuggling ring! Smiley

My mom and I lived across the Detroit river from each other years ago and we crossed often. Only once was she eating an apple she had not quite finished as she got up to the border guard on the US side. She had to hand over the core, he was so serious about it! He totally made her feel like an international smuggler, lol. I am pretty sure it was a Washington apple too. Weirdness.

I worked on the octopus yesterday and today I made bacon peanut butter dog biscuits which we delivered to the pups in our neighbourhood. Well received despite smelling pretty funky while they were baking.

This project kept me busy every day for a couple of weeks.
For the One Tiny Black and White Movie Thing swap.
Movie was The Lady Eve, which I got to enjoy for the first time ever.
card that explained the thingie.... This is a rich guy demanding dinner. He was a hillarious character.

I took a dollar store purse keychain and altered it.

In the movie, card sharks are on a cruise type ship (1940s) and always have one up their sleeve. So inside the purse, I put the hidden card

A few extras inside, a snake (which appeared in the opening credits a lot more than in the actual movie)

A tiny apple (representing Eve), an H scrabble tile with a quote on it, an antique NYC travel token, and the famous bottle of ale from the movie.

tiny painting mounting inside, of the ship

Today, my completed portrait of Winken, the baby grey squirrel, who was one of three I rescued last spring. All have grown up and continue to talk to me through my window when they come to the birdfeeder.
Charcoal.

blu way to wrap up the month! Your OTT is super detailed, wow. The sketch is adorable, I love baby squirrels. We rescued many as kids, my mom is a big softy for creatures and never said no to us dropper feeding some tiny fluff ball in a shoe box.

I did OK this month, only one day of nothing crafty for progressive at all and 6 days dedicated to destashing and reorganizing, which I'm still at but nearly finished with WHEW!
This was fun again, I'll sign up next year too. Thanks Acadian Driftwood, great craft-along Smiley.

Finished the swaps, so I can post a couple things that I made!

Here's some slippers I made from stash fabric and a pair of flip flops. Oh, plus some hot glue, staples, and a lot of cursing. Thank goodness they fit their recipient.

Here is a nice fuzzy infinity scarf, my first one and a rare change to circular knitting needles for me.

And though I technically finished it in March, this ridiculous hat consumed almost all of my February:

Phew!
