It came to my house in the mail unexpectedly. I knew it was going to be something unreal and I'm not kidding you, I was afraid to look in case it made me cry. I unwrapped it towards the mister so I could read his reaction before turning it around. It is astonishing, I'm going to take a close up in good light so you can see the minuscule stitches. I need glasses to make them out, for real I can not even see them individually. Unbelievable. Thank you so much Ludi. I am honoured.

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

and remember, ALWAYS USE THE GOOD BEADS, YARN, FABRIC!

Love you all, thank you so much for everything. XO

Thank you!  I didn't want to make you cry, crafty!  Kiss

This tiny stitches technique I've been playing with lately I call in my own mind "petit point for the undisciplined."   Wink

I love how the stitches only enhanced his expression. Great job!

When you stitch, Ludi, do you poke through and up in one stitch? Or do you go down, pull through, poke up, pull through? (so 2 movements vs 1)?

Happy tears! The happiest Smiley. I consider this a very fine example of silk shading with a dynamic twist. You are a true artist, I am so pleased to have this lovely piece for myself.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, my dearest wish is to spy over the shoulder of some of you when you craft so I can see how you make the magic.

Definitely two movements.

I straight up made a cartoon sound! Whhhhhat!?
That's double effort! But probably makes it so you don't snag. But WOW. I thought for sure it was just one, poking up through.

And this is the result of amazing, persistent seed stitch.
