I've been working on lots of new projects recently, but haven't gotten around to posting them all. :x This is one of my first embroidery projects - a wildflower collar necklace.

This is an in-progress shot; I had finished the embroidered but hadn't cut it out or backed it yet.

Here's what it looks like finished:

I think I want to tie the ribbon more neatly and tack it in place; it looks a bit loose/sloppy as it is, and the collar has a chain/lobster claw necklace finding in the back, so there's no reason you really need to untie the ribbon.

And one last one of me wearing it

I don't look forward to my finger joints feeling cramped and sore from stitching again any time soon, but I might make another one later on. :3 or do some other embroidery projects. It was a good learning experience.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

Lovely floral piece and I think it's neat that you put a clasp in the back so that the ribbon never needs to be untied.

This is so lovely. It looks delicate and so bespoke! I would never be able to pull something like this off but I love the idea of making something similar!
